Template Settings

You can access to template manager with the top menu : "Extensions --> Template Manager --> bw_2 "

With "bw_2 Template", you can :

• change the site name
• choose the letter-spacing of your site name for a good display
• choose the font size
• Display or not your social links
• choose a mootools effect for display a fade effect on your content when you refresh each page

Module Positions

Example for the "adress" position : go to the module manager and create a new module with the option "custom html". Write your adress or/and copyright and choose the position "adress".

How to display your logo ?

In this template, you choose if you want insert your logo or just write your site name (by default) :

• To change the site name, go to the template manager and change the text. It's the option by default like in this demo
• To insert your logo, you must create a new module (option "custom html"), insert your logo inside with the position "logo" and publish it. The maximum size for your image is 980px * 40px and the image will be automatically centered.

How to configure the main menu ?

You must select your main menu in module manager and enter this settings :

• position : "menu"
• Always show sub-menu items : "yes"
• Menu tag ID : "main_menu"

How to configure main_menu for display some sub menu ?

For obtain this, the parent item must be a link (for article or component) or a "separator item".

How to display one image in the box for your home page without scroll bar and white margin ?

For obtain this, you create a new module (html personnalize). The position for this module is "image" with no display title and choose your "home page" for this module. You insert your image in this module with the right dimension ( 645px * 590px ) and it's all !!

Note : if you use the standard wysiwyg editor, you must unpublish it for delete the tag <p> in the html code. I recommand you to install JCE editor.

How to display the slideshow on the demo ?

For that, use the free module "Ari Image Slider" by Ari Soft

You can find this module in this package for Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 1.6

Install the module and edit it :

• choose the position : "image" for publish it on the front page, or the position "top" (like in the demo) or "bottom".
